In honor of our nation’s 250th Anniversary, MSNA Past President Ken Swab will be at Saint’s Row Brewing at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, as part of the Gaithersburg Community Museum’s Museum on Tap Program discusses Maryland’s evolution from a British colony to one of the original 13 states of the new United States of America. The program will feature notes and other fiscal documents from 1767 to 1793, and include ones showing the role of Montgomery County in the Revolution and one related to the Maryland First Regiment, whose bravery resulted in Maryland getting the nickname, The Old Line State.
